Educational Leadership Conference, Malta 2008
The 1st International Conference in partnership with CRELL and MSEAM
Mark your diary for the first International conference in the field of educational management and leadership. This conference is being
organized by the Faculty of Education, University of Malta in collaboration with the Malta Society for Educational
Administration and Management (MSEAM) and the Centre for Research for Lifelong Learning (CRELL) within the European
Commission. It will be held at The New Dolmen Hotel from 18.00 on the 12th November to 18.00 on the 14th November
2008.
This is the first international conference on educational leadership that is being hosted in Malta. The conference aims
to attract educators and researchers from as many regions as possible. There will be a special focus on developments in
the field within the Euro-Med region but allowing all participants to celebrate and share developments in their respective
countries and that fall within the scope of this conference.
This is a unique opportunity. Colleagues and friends, interested in the field will certainly benefit from this event.
We aim to attract not only established scholars in the field but also to provide an opportunity for younger educators that
aspire to take educational leadership seriously both personally and professionally. This conference should provide one and
all with varied opportunities to share ideas about the discipline, to share research findings, to celebrate experiences, good
practices and provide a forum for new and fresh ideas. We will be waiting for you in order to learn and gain from each other
whilst at the same time enjoying the rich cultural traditions that Malta and Gozo have to offer.
